A Bit About Me
Laura’s 20 years in the industry began at Douglas J Aveda Institute in Michigan. She has since lived in Chicago for 15+ years and spent all of those years honing her craft at Genacelli Salon/East Studio in Lincoln Park. During this time, Laura ascended to the role of Master Stylist and Education Director. She credits her success in the industry to her passion for education in both developing new talent and continuing to grow her own skill set by consistently attending classes in London, New York, Miami, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
A cut and color specialist, Laura’s genuine consultative approach has fostered long standing relationships with her clients both male and female. Meeting new people and empowering men and women to look and feel their best keeps her energetic and engaged in her work.
When not behind the chair, Laura is most likely to be found at home with her husband and baby girl, in the kitchen mastering recipes from the latest issue of Bon Appetit. Time with family, travel, great music, and even better wine are the rewards of years of dedication and passion toward the industry.
